"I don't want to make monsters cry" (because it won't let me type that all in as a title XD ... oh well)

Time to type up some crazy. I know it sounds silly, but i've always felt it is really bad luck to do a self portrait, and always have.

Well, last night i felt the need to draw one. Sure, this was done out of my head (clearly... har har...) but I tried to keep it with how it feels it should look, not what I would want it too... if that makes any sense.

I just thought it would be nice to do a quick little piece for myself. I had so much I planned to type up here as I worked on it... but I can't seem to recall any of it now -_- Maybe i'll edit this someday.

Well anywho... hopefully I can skate by and fate won't send something bad my way XP

So pretty! Your details are plush. I love the highlights on the horns... you really brought out the surface and light source. And, once again, good job conveying an emotion through the central character.

I love the distortion and the strange shapes, and I particularly adore the way the picture fades into black ^^

Looks very much like what I've always pictured as a classic image of someone's muse. The off-center lighting, sort of like candle or flashlight light makes this one seem almost ethereal, like it's under the covers of a bed, in the middle of the night. The 'lightning to the page' effect is a rather cool touch, I think.
