Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Hello ^_^

First of all, thank you to everyone who voted for my mask entry this year. I didn't win, but thank you none the less! I'm really glad you guys liked my design! (you all rock XD and totally deserve cookies or something)

I'm still way behind on thanks for the comments and favorites, but please know i am thankful. <3

I've gotten my portfolio printed, and for once it didn't turn out neon green or electric barfpuke yellow! It actually... turned out great! I'm so happy. (dare i say except for the fact it got cropped a tiny bit, its darn near everything i could have asked for printing wise.) I'm glad so many of you liked my pages i'm putting in there. I'll be moving them into a nice folder and stuff when i get back.

So i'll be off at SDCC (San Diego Comic-con) this year showing it off. *crosses fingers* Looks like there is a nice selection of portfolio reviews this year too (more people looking for art, rather then small videogame companies in WAY over their head over the amount of people looking to get reviewed) So yeah, I have high hopes for that. *double crosses fingers*

*strikes a super hero pose* So i'll be gone all next week pretty much, and hopefully after that I'll have some good news to post!

WotC was only doing portfolio drop offs ;_; (which i did and they took my contact info, so one can only hope right?) which was a bummer because i really wanted to talk in person. The other interviews i did i didn't really fit the companies too well, though one was really nice about it. So yeah... nothing to exciting there unfortunately.

But who knows... met some nice art people... i really should e-mail them x_x' oi. I'm so bad about that.

You should try to find time to email some of the people back. Sometimes you'll pick up on someone who'll respond back regularly which is nice.

Totally know how you feel about not fitting for interviews... kind of a motivation breaker but don't give up! I think your work has been improving steadily, there is definitely something out there for you!

I've just had horrid printing experiences... so this was like... amazing. I pick my colors carefully, so when a printer stomps over them with no care it makes me sad. To the point i've been like 'nope... never printing anything again' and then freaking out and second guessing if my computer is set all wrong (which it isn't XP) *rambles* ... yeah....
