Whew!

Wondercon 09' was um... rather flea markety this year... and not in a good way. All the standard shops that peddle licensed things were selling the same things at crazy prices, and all the more hand crafted stalls seemed to be just offering the exact same stuff as everyone around them. If i want to pay 20$ for some vaguely catish looking 'ears'... you better be making them with your own two hands, not paying someone in china 2$ to make them for you.

I had hoped to do a few things there... all of which didn't really work out. Signatures of anyone i thought would be fun (especially Adam West) were FAR too pricy. I'd hoped Dean Yeagle would be there, but his table remained empty, double bummer. (and the chinese new year parade wasn't held at the same time this year, so triple bummer XD) And the only portfolio review was... well lets just say that was a 2 hour wait in line waste of time. Nicest thing i can say about that. If you want to actually show people your portfolio, go to sand diego comic con instead.

Really, the best pat of the whole con was running into some friends. Amber (who i need to add their DA link here) was there selling prints and shirts again, and that was a lot of fun. Also got to run into Brandon (needs DA link too XD) who i haven't seen since last year at wondercon too... i suck at staying in touch ;_;' *fail* That was really the best part of the weekend.

Other bonus was i put together some portfolio pages XD yay?

Second note, Adam West is taller then i thought he would be... *totally random*
